![]() Hooray for Summer! Think safety first THEN have fun in the sun. Take good care of each other as my brother has always done for me. In this photo taken many moons ago we were vacationing at Miami Beach. ![]() There was always a story to be told in the Coco home. Here, my brother, Larry, and I listened as Mother read to us. My favorite stories were told at the dinner table. Dad and Mother would tell us their childhood experiences of growing up during the Great Depression. ![]() Christmas has always been my favorite holiday for many reasons. You can't see the Christmas tree in this photo, but take a peek at the big box behind me. Can you guess what that was? Hint: the big circle in the center was a screen. MY FAVORITE PHRASE: |
Sleuths OnlyWould you like to know what I was like growing up or what inspired me to become a writer? Be a sleuth and uncover clues which may help you to know me a little better. Enjoy!![]() Isn't growing up one of the toughest things you've ever done? That's what I used to think because I was actually quite shy. BUT, something would happen when I opened the pages of a new book. Reading led me on many adventures. The characters seemed to take me by the hand and I became a part of the story. In my mind, I was right there with them, whether it was solving a mystery with Nancy Drew or in the secret garden with young Mary and Dickon. Everything came to life! |
